Malibu Hike and Paradise Cove

My mom and I successfully completed or second hike – in Malibu! We went to Point Dume just past Paradise Cove. We hiked up to the top, back down to the tide pools, then up and down again! It was a lot of fun. We ended our Malibu day by stopping at the Paradise Cove Cafe for lunch. It’s on the beach, wooden chairs in the sand with umbrellas, and fancy drinks in coconuts, watermelons, and pinapples.

Beach Day!

I’ve been trying to make the most out of my few weeks off before I start working full time (on Monday!). I went down to Seal Beach to spend the day with Sean. We walked around on the beach and the pier. Later in the afternoon, I went to Venice to snap some photos. It was SO HOT that day. I didn’t spend much time there, just long enough to grab a few photos.

Sea World

Santa Monica

A few weeks ago I spent the day in Santa Monica. Did the usual things – Rode the ferris wheel, rode the rollercoaster, ate a hot dog, and walked along the water. It was fun to spend the day with Todd, my best friend who I only see every now and then!

EuroTrip.

The first leg of my journey is complete. I’m chilling in Providence, Rhode Island. I got some killer shots from the airplane using Instagram. I didn’t know how to feel about Instagram at first, but lately I’ve embrasd the Chase Jarvis quote, “The best camera is the one that’s with you.” That is so true. Using my phone as a camera allows me to quickly take photos I wouldn’t have taken otherwise. So my conclusion? I’m obsessed with Instagram.
